You may have heard about the more code-friendly approach Trigger.dev took to solve things like debugging, pasting in webhook formats from api documentation, and auto-retrying.
I am sorta shocked to hear there is no n8n auto retry yet, I saw on google over past 3 years people regularly ask about it and the last one just closed as it was posted 91 days ago. How can we just get an auto-retry so for example when openAI api call fails, the whole flow doesn’t fail? I have seen this in other automation platforms from appsumo.
Also the pasting in lots of code from chatgpt and being able to debug seamlessly as shown in the video below would be a huge step up to future proofing n8n . I want to build my infrastructure on this platform but with generative AI, it is difficult to imagine how the competitive advantages mentioned above ^^ will be integrated or not. Can we make, or modify, nodes to integrate these capabilities with some estimated roadmap time?
