Hi everyone, I’m currently doing the n8n Level 2 Certification and I’m having an issue with the Discord webhook step.
I created the Error Workflow as instructed and connected the Discord node using the webhook URL that was sent to me by email.
I formatted the message exactly as required in the instructions, replacing the placeholders with the correct expressions from the Error Trigger node and including my unique ID.
However, when I execute the node, I get the response:
“Your message was invalid, Please make sure you are sending the exact text requested.”
Because of this, the quiz says I didn’t alert the team, even though everything seems correctly configured. This issue happens across workflows, not just one.
Has anyone faced this before? Could it be an issue with the webhook itself?

I can see that this is the “Workflow 3: Monitoring workflow errors” step, and it is indeed not working as documented in the course materials,
I can also confirm that this step is not necessary, so you can ignore it and proceed directly to the quiz if you fully understand it (without sending anything on Discord).
Hello Mohamed, thank you for answering, tho i proceeded directly with the quiz, and i didn’t pass it because of not “alerting team”, as what i know that should be done when discord node notify in the channel so i pass
