Looking to Hire: Developer to Build Gainium Node + MCP Server for LLMs

Hey everyone,

I’m looking to hire a skilled developer familiar with n8n node development and modern LLM integrations.

We’re building a custom Gainium node for n8n that needs to:

  • Handle authentication (API key + secret)
  • Trigger and perform actions (fetch bot data, place orders, etc.)
  • Follow best practices for n8n node design and usability

In parallel, we also want to design a lightweight Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. The idea is to allow large language models to interact with structured tool APIs via a standard context-based schema (e.g., exposing n8n workflows and nodes as callable tools).

You’d be working directly with me. I’ll guide you through the requirements, but I expect you to be autonomous and proactive in decisions.

Ideal experience:

  • n8n node development
  • API design (REST/GraphQL)
  • LLM tooling or LangChain / function calling / OpenAI tool calling
  • TypeScript
  • Basic DevOps (just enough to deploy a simple MCP server)

Remote, async-friendly. Paid gig — scope can be short or expanded based on your availability and interest.
