I’m starting here because I’m not even sure where I’d begin to start in the whole Matrix/Element world. I’m using the Matrix node to send messages to rooms in Matrix. We use the Element (formerly riot.im) clients and they support Commonmark. When I attempt to use Commonmark in the node, it does not parse properly on the Element clients. I’m guessing it’s just not supported, but I’ll wait for confirmation on that. I did notice the ability to use HTML, which is great, but not really. The problem with HTML is that it doesn’t display at all in the push notifications, so that’s not really an option. If this isn’t something that can be addressed on the n8n side of things, let me know and I’ll see if I can make any headway on the Matrix/Element side of things.
