Meet Anshul, our new Community Moderator 🛡️

Hey everyone,

Some cool news to share: we’ve recently brought @Anshul_namdev on board as our very first Community Moderator. You’ve probably seen him around quite a bit already, and we’re really happy to have him take on this slightly more formal role, working directly with the n8n Community Team.

A quick intro from Anshul

I’m based in India and love building automation workflows. I got into n8n while trying to simplify everyday tasks, and it quickly became something I genuinely enjoy. I share what I build on my site, axshul.site. What keeps me here is the community. It’s welcoming, helpful, and always full of ideas.

Why Anshul?

For the past four months, Anshul has been consistently in the top 3 of our Answer & Earn leaderboard. When you spend that much time helping people on the forum, you start to spot the patterns: what works, what doesn’t, where folks get stuck. That’s exactly the perspective we wanted a bit closer to the team.

What does this mean in practice?

Anshul works directly with the n8n Community Team, helping us with:

  • Keeping the forum tidy: removing spam, moving posts to the right place, that kind of thing
  • Welcoming new members and helping them find their way around
  • Explaining our policies (yes, including the one about AI-generated answers )
  • Looking at where our onboarding could be clearer
  • Generally helping us stay well-organized
  • Down the line: helping shape new activities and areas on the forum

You’ll see him around wearing the Community Moderator badge, so he’s easy to spot.

And one more thing: if you have ideas about the forum, things that could work better, or something you want to flag, feel free to DM him (just click on the ‘Message’ button on his profile card: @Anshul_namdev). Part of the reason he’s here is to help us hear what the community is thinking.

A note on Answer & Earn

Anshul will keep participating in Answer & Earn the same as before. That program runs separately from his moderator role. To keep things clean: he won’t mark solutions on his own answers (we’ll leave that to OPs and the rest of the team), and he isn’t involved in any decisions about the program itself. Clear lines, no surprises.

Looking ahead

This is the start of something we’d like to grow. The forum has been getting busier (in a good way), and we’re planning to bring on more Community Moderators later this year so we can keep up with that growth and have proper coverage across timezones. Anshul is the first, but he won’t be the last.

Welcome aboard, Anshul!

A big thanks to Anshul for taking this on, and to all of you for making this community what it is. If you bump into him, say hi :waving_hand:
