Microsoft Drive OAuth2 Timeout

I’m attempting to create Credentials for “Microsoft Drive Oath2 API”. I’ve followed the guide in the documentation however, when I click on the red Connect button I’m getting a 504 Gateway Time-out error every time. It times out after I enter my Microsoft account details.

I have been able to successfully set up the credentials for other accounts (specifically Google FireStore).

N8N is running in Docker behind an NGINX reverse proxy on a sperate virtual machine.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to start troubleshooting?

Welcome to the community @Geoff!

Sadly do not have any knowledge about Microsoft OAuth2. But you can try to change the “Authorization URL” and “Access Token URL”. So replace the “common” in the URLs with “organizations” and “consumers”.

If that is the problem them throw a 504 would be strange but you never know.

Thank you for the suggestion @jan.

I double checked the endpoint that I was using, and they were correct. I also double checked the Client Secret, which wasn’t correct; I’d used the ID instead of the Value. Once I corrected the Client Secret the problem was fixed.

Great to hear that you found the solution. Have fun!
