**I just finished building the Multi-Channel AI Agent** 🚀

Most support bots only work within one channel. I wanted to build something closer to a real system: a customer messaging on website chat today, then following up on WhatsApp tomorrow, should be recognized as the same person not treated as three different contacts.

Over 10 phases, I built a centralized AI support agent for a fictional store, TechNest, using n8n:
✅ Three intake channels (website, WhatsApp, email), normalized into one consistent format
✅ A unified customer profile in Airtable, matched by email or phone
✅ Cross-channel conversation memory the AI recalls what a customer said on a different channel, without them repeating themselves
✅ A Pinecone-backed knowledge base, so the AI answers from real data instead of guessing
✅ Structured intent classification and urgency detection
✅ Automatic human escalation the AI knows when NOT to answer alone, and hands off with a full conversation summary
✅ Channel-appropriate reply formatting and routing

This project taught me more about real system design than any tutorial could, identity resolution, context management, and knowing where automation should stop are the actual hard parts, not the AI call itself.
