My lifetime license key stopped working after reinstall

Hi n8n team,

I received a lifetime activation key for n8n and had it working correctly on my self-hosted instance.

After resetting my Docker environment and mounting a fresh volume, the key is no longer accepted and gives this error:

“Activation key has already been used on this instance”

However, I’m still using the same local machine. It seems like the instance ID changed during cleanup, and now I can’t reactivate the license.

Could you please help me reset or rebind my license?

I would recommend reaching out to [email protected]

It should be a quick process, but they may be reluctant as sometimes companies do this for free licenses, but it’s worth emailing if you haven’t already.
