N8n App did not start any longer on Mac

Hi
My n8n App did not longer open on Intel-Mac.
I get a blank App window.
Where do i find my flows on the Mac and how can i save them in an directory?
I tryed to download a fresh n8n-App und to open it on the Mac.
Also a blank App window.

Hi @UweG, I’m very sorry to hear you’re encountering this behaviour.

Are you using our desktop application? And I presume you have already tried restarting your machine (to make sure there is no zombie process left blocking something)?

Unfortunately I don’t have a Mac myself, but on Windows my wirst point of call would be to launch the application from the terminal to check if the console output might have additional hints as to what could be failing here. I’m also tagging @ivov who has worked on the desktop app and might have more helpful suggestions here.

Your workflows should be stored in an SQLite database in your ~/.n8n directory. You can access the database with any tool capable of reading such databases such as DB Browser for SQLite. Make sure to backup your database file first and to not have the database open while trying to start n8n.
