N8n Posts to LinkedIn don't include "mentions" or link previews

Describe the issue/error/question

I would like to use n8n to automate posts to LinkedIn. However, when I include a mention ie. @Trevor Sullivan, it doesn’t register as a link to an entity. Secondly, when I include a link, there is no link preview on the LinkedIn post, like there is when you manually post on the website.

Question: How can I post to LinkedIn from n8n workflows, and include valid “mentions” and link previews?

Hey @trevor,

To be honest the LinkedIn needs a bit of love, When I use it part of is all good if I select the Article type and add the Original URL field.

The default type is “Text Only” which doesn’t do anything fancy.

It looks like for a mention you might need to use the Mention URN which expects something like @[Eddy](urn:li:person:1234) for a user or @[Devtestco] (urn:li:organization:2414183) for an organisation.
