I’m on the free plan and requested the icense key .
n8n sent me an email with the license and when i entered it , it gave me invalid license key
could i request re-sending it or what should i do ?
Hello Gerges_Farag, maybe i can help answer your question. There are several things to note and i’ll outline them in a few points:
- On the free plan, you dont actually need a license key.. thats only for the Enterprise features. If you try to add one, n8n will display an “invalid key“ message.
- If you did receive a license by email and it doesnt work, make sure you copied the entire key (no spaces at the beginning or end). Sometimes that alone fixes it.
- If it still invalid, the easiest solution is to contact n8n support, so they can resend or maybe confirm the key.
So, if you’re just using the free plan, you can ignore the license part and keep going. However, if you need the paid features, support will sort out the key for you quickly.
