N8N set up with subfolderssl on ubuntu server 22.04

Describe the problem/error/question

Hi there, I wanted to set up n8n with subfolderssl https://github.com/n8n-io/n8n/blob/master/docker/compose/subfolderWithSSL/README.md, so basically I want to set up n8n with subpath like example.com/n8n, So I have done only with subdomain according to documentation and everything did work but when I add subpath such /n8n according to github subfolderssl within docker compose it is not working. So could you please give some advice and guide according to set up of subfolderssl, thank you.

Hi @Kylychbek_Zhumabai_u, I am afraid this is a bit tricky and I honestly don’t know what the currently suggested approach is. In general I’d suggest you avoid using subpaths for your web application, not just with n8n but in general seeing how complex they can be.

Perhaps @mutdmour can help with this, seeing he’s got a lot of in-depth knowledge about hour our UI functions and how it fetches its assets?
