N8N webhook is slow

I made a flow linking the webhook to a whatsapp messages api (wpp-connecct). I installed n8n on a server with 8 gigs of ram.

If the user responds slowly the system works correctly and slowly.

However when only one person sends several messages quickly n8n shows the following error: “Unknown - The workflow execution is probably still running but it may have crashed and n8n cannot safely tell.”

Information on your n8n setup

  • n8n version: 0.202.1
  • Database you’re using (default: SQLite): Postgresql
  • Running n8n with the execution process [own(default), main]:
  • Running n8n via [Docker, npm, n8n.cloud, desktop app]: Docker

Hi @Geter_Sousa

Setting the execution process to main would speed it up on n8n’s side.
