Need Help – n8n AI “Ask & Build” Options Missing After Subscription

Hello Team,

I am a new user of the n8n platform and currently exploring it as a beginner. I recently used the trial version to create workflows, and I was very impressed with the n8n AI features especially the Ask and Build options that help generate workflows easily.

During the trial, the Build feature provided 20 credits, which I used completely. To continue using these AI features, I subscribed to a paid plan yesterday.

However, today when I checked my account, the n8n AI Ask & Build options are no longer visible. I searched throughout the portal, but I cannot find these AI features anywhere.

Could you please guide me on how to get these options back or whether they have been moved or disabled?

The Ask and Build AI features were experimental and have been replaced with newer AI capabilities in recent n8n versions. They are no longer available as standalone options in the current interface.

Check your workflow editor for the AI Agent node and other AI tools—these provide similar functionality for building AI-powered workflows. If you are on cloud, ensure you are using the latest version and check settings for any AI-related toggles.

Contact n8n support directly through your cloud dashboard if the features you paid for are missing—they can clarify what AI credits apply to your plan.
