So after my workspace has became inactive after my trial(Last time I used it was 8 april), it seems that N8N also deleted my account. Which doesnt make sense since they would kept the data 90 days. Main problem: Im not receiving a magic link for login at all. I tried every possible email I could think of. Is there currently an error with N8N login system?
@Yass11 check your spam folder first, the magic links end up there constantly. if nothing shows up after a few minutes reach out to help@n8n.io directly, they can verify whether your account still exists and resend the link manually
I spoke to support, they said the magic link mail is getting surpressed for some reason when it gets sent to my email. I added n8n.io to the safe list as well as noreply@transactional.n8n.io but without any success. So now Im waiting for support to respond, my email isnt deleted they said. And I can receive emails from other recipients, so I dont think my email is the problem.
Not receiving magic link. Im already contacting support. Is there a reason why n8n decides not to use normal passwords for login? Seems like a weird decision.
Unfortunately I dont see a windows like this. Only an option to login with a magic link. How did you get here? If I can get to a normal login page with a password, I might be able to login
I just received an email from support, apparently they did delete my instance even in the less then 90 days period. So they deleted my account in less then 2 weeks after my trial period ended
Let this be a warning for future n8n users to always backup everything. The reason why I didnt buy a package is because I was busy and I thought I still had time to buy a package, didn’t know they would delete my whole account and workflows which I worked on for 3 weeks
Glad to know that im not crazy and I was right in the beginning saying my account was defintely deleted
@Yass11 that login screen Ectilow showed is from a self-hosted instance, cloud doesn’t have password login — magic link is the only option there. but looking at that support email, they confirmed your trial instance was deleted on april 12th, so you’d need to use the link they sent you to create a new account and start a fresh trial. ask them to export your old workflows before you do
Update 5 may 2026. They still havent retreived my old workflows yet. Its unfortunate that its taking this long. But il still wait
