Hi everyone,
I’m hoping this is just a weird bug, but almost all nodes within the ‘AI’ category no longer have an input area. See my screenshot below.
I can no longer ‘connect’ an AI agent to my workflow. Additionally, there are no more ‘tools’ connectors to the AI agent.
I’ve seen a couple of forum articles saying that AI agents have changed, but I cant seem to find a revised tutorial on how to hook them up.
Am I experiencing a bug? I am on the community edition, installed on my own server.
That is definitely a bug, have you tried uodating your n8n into the newest version?
I updated it last night and it was still there, but I’ll check again. As long as other n8n community edition users are not experiencing it, then that’s good. I’ll see if I can fix it.
Just update to 1.106.3 no changes
Are you running docker/Alpine on a server? I discovered that it might be an issue with Alpine. When I installed it locally using NPM in vs code without docker, it worked fine.

For me im running in docker compose with the :latest image and i never have this issue
Hi. I’m experiencing the same issue on the latest version, running in a Docker container on AWS with a PostgreSQL DB. Are there any solutions or workarounds?

Why are there no answers to this - i’m sure lots of people who decide to update will be affected
