Node connections not visible in editor after latest update (workflows still run)

Hi everyone,

After the latest automatic update, I’m experiencing a UI issue where the connections between nodes are no longer visible in the workflow editor.

This affects:

  • Existing workflows

  • Newly created workflows

The workflows still execute correctly, but the visual links between nodes are missing, which makes editing and maintaining workflows impossible. The issue started immediately after the update and appears to be a frontend/UI regression.

What I’ve already tried:

  • Tested on multiple browsers (Chrome and Firefox, latest versions)

  • Cleared browser cache and tested in incognito mode

  • Disabled VPNs and proxies

The issue persists in all cases.

yeah that sounds like a canvas rendering issue - since youre on n8n cloud, this is definitely something their team needs to look at directly.

can you check your browser console (F12 → Console tab) and see if there are any errors showing up? screenshot those if you find any. also worth checking if you have any browser extensions that might be blocking canvas/SVG rendering.

but honestly since this is cloud and started right after their update, i’d open a support ticket with them asap - they might have already deployed a fix or can roll you back. How to contact n8n

Yes, I’ve already contacted them and I’m currently waiting for a response. I just wanted to check if anyone else has encountered this issue before.
