Node presets?

Hi, are there any plans to implement presets for Nodes?

With nodes such as the Code node which is often used as a utilty to perform a common operation, it would be great to be able to save the configuration and code within.
Currently I copy/paste from a ‘Utilities’ workflow, but it’s not ideal.

I do not believe so. But there may be feature requests you can vote on or make one yourself.

Helper functions custom library

Hi all. Is there a way to make a collection of ‘helper’ functions accessible ‘globally’? Helper functions : any custom functions that i’ve written in a function node, and i use repeatedly. e.g. Array/Object manipulation in a certain way. Globally : preferably throughout n8n (all workflows), or at least, throughout a workflow, once declared. If the option/workaround is not there currently, do let me know to change this to a Feature request. Another preference : solution shouldn’t require to …

Some ideas:

• create sub workflows with commonly used functions, and call them from main workflows
• a bit more complex, but create the helpers as a package and use docker env vars & volume mapping to import the custom package and use it within code nodes
