Notice from HubSpot about OAuth v1 API endpoint sunset

Describe the problem/error/question

I received an email from HubSpot stating that I am using HubSpot API endpoints that will soon no longer be supported. Starting February 16, 2027, all OAuth v1 API endpoints will return errors. These endpoints are being deprecated because they pass sensitive data in URLs or query parameters, which can expose credentials in logs and browser history.

I am just checking whether the provided HubSpot credentials will be updated to the new date-based versioning OAuth endpoints per the instructions here:

Hi @Ian_R

I can`t find any github issue or information about whether or when the n8n HubSpot credentials will be updated. There’s currently no GitHub issue or official acknowledgment from n8n tracking this specific OAuth v1 endpoint sunset.

To make sure it gets on n8n’s radar, please file a GitHub issue with the migration guide you linked and the February 2027 deadline. That’s the most direct way to get the nodes team to schedule the credential update.

I can’t find how to report this, since it is not a bug but just a request for update.

Use the GitHub bug report template https://github.com/n8n-io/n8n/issues/new?template=bug_report.yml

and title it as something like a “future breaking change in HubSpot OAuth token endpoints” . The n8n team will relabel it appropriately. There’s no separate update request template, bug reports are the standard intake for these. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

I got this response and the issue was automatically closed:image.png

Thank you for taking the time to share your suggestion! We’ve reviewed the details, and it seems this is more of a feature or enhancement request rather than a bug report.

As a heads-up, we use GitHub issues exclusively for tracking bugs. For feature requests or support questions, we recommend sharing them on our forum, where the community and our team actively discuss and prioritize new ideas.

We’re closing this issue for now to keep our tracker focused, but we’d love to hear more about your idea on the forum! Your feedback helps us improve, and we truly appreciate it.

Thanks again for contributing, and we hope to see you on the forum!

I got a response on GitHub:

they will be updated, I have recently started looking into changes for our Hubspot integration
