# Notion loading properties is not working?

I am trying to update a Notion database / table by adding new rows to it. However, the type and properties do not load properly so I cannot properly tell n8n/Notion which field is a Title, which is Text, which is Date, etc. My Notion integration is working fine otherwise, I was able to get database IDs, etc. just fine, just this specific feature doesn’t work. I am working on n8n using Docker on Windows.

I just checked and it’s still not working for me. My database page is working just fine, I was able to get database with no problem. Are you using n8n cloud or self-hosted?

Self-hosted, but I believe this node is the same for both, so shouldn’t be that much different.

From the screenshot I see that the error says that no input is connected. Do you have any nodes connected to the notion node? I believe the problem could be related to the lack of the input? Maybe? [Share the workflow here](https://europe1.discourse-cdn.com/n8n/original/3X/3/c/3c5d4799d109b446df8875d731db2800e7c55bc6.gif), let’s take a look.

This is a slightly different node than the original screenshot (which was based on a template) - this is the one I’m actually working in - simple 2 column table. It’s simply not loading the Notion properies

Yes that’s the only part that is not working, everything else is flowing fine. And I would add values but it won’t map to the properties

Well, in the workflow you shared, there is nothing to share the values to… so, I am not sure how I can help you to figure out the issue without looking at more nodes, including those, where the data for this node is coming from.

It doesn’t matter where the data is coming from. I am trying to paste in test values. The values can be test for all I care. The problem is that this node won’t output anything to Notion

Try to see if you can pull the page id from the URL, it should look like this  
`23a2ef1570458001a518ec2588810fe2`  
and not like this  
`239ea85e-43b2-800d-8829-e499097e8a1b`

When you open the page in browser the id will be in the URL under the `p=` query string parameter.

There is no p= in the URL.

When I input it without the dashes, it says it’s invalid.

after pasting this id to the field, exit the node config page and enter it again.

This is closer to working, the table properties are loading now, but it is still giving me an invalid page id error.

Amazing! The Update a Database Page via Notion now seems to be working with this solution. However, the Create a Database Page using the same page id does not seem to work. Do I need to use the database ID for this one? If I do, how do I make sure the table properties load?
