OAuth Redirect URL not showing up

Hello guys,

I’m just starting with n8n and I’m not super savvy. So, a total beginner.
Been trying to connect my node with Google apps, in thsi case the calendar.
But as shown in the picture, when I try to get the URL, it does not show up where it supposed to appear. I’m still in the free trial plan, I don’t know if I need the paid version for it.

It looks like your topic is missing some important information. Could you provide the following if applicable.

  • n8n version:
  • Database (default: SQLite):
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main):
  • Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app):
  • Operating system:

Hi @Vitor_Salles

Welcome to the community! :tada:

This is intended for cloud instances. You don’t need to be on a paid tier to connect with Google services. You can just follow the provided link.

You can read more about this in our documentation here

I’m running into the same issue. I’m just going through the written beginner tutorial (Nathan’s Workflow). Instead of Airtable, I’m trying to use Google Sheets. I am not getting the OAuth redirect URL info below. All I’m getting is the sign in with Google prompt. I’ve set everything up on google cloud as instructed with Sheets and drive authorized. I go back to n8n, click the ‘sign in with Google’ button, check ‘select all’ for what n8n can access and get the something is wrong error from google. There’s probably something I’m missing, but I’ve quadruple checked everything and can’t seem to figure it out. Feel like it’s pretty basic, but can’t continue moving forward since I can use the google APIs.

Is there a reason mine doesn’t look like the pic below I see in all the tutorials online?

  • n8n version: - latest since on cloud
  • Database (default: SQLite): - na
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main): - default
  • Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app): - cloud
  • Operating system: - mac 15.1.1

Thanks!

Hi @Jonb ,

Thanks for all the details and welcome to the community! :cake:
The options you see in this screenshot are the ones available on self-hosted instances.

This is intentional, and it’s designed to make it a faster and simpler process on cloud.

I am not being able to reproduce the error while on the same n8n version and with multiple email addresses.
Could you double-check if this happens in a different browser or in anonymous mode as well?

I can also see that your cloud subscription has been cancelled today - do you still need help with this then?

Mariana,

Thanks for the suggestion to try a different browser. Looks like Firefox didn’t like the Oauth. It worked in Chrome right away!

Hi,

I am getting the same issue. I have tested it on both safari and chrome. However, this isn’t the case when I create credentials for google drive

hey could you tell how did you solve this problem because i have been trying to solve the same issue but i just can’t figure this out! i don’t see any URL that i can copy to make the trigger run

Tried Chrome, Firefox and even Microsoft Edge, none of them worked

same thing here, for google drive I can see the url, but not for the others

Hey @Sameer , @yk00

Are you both also seeing the “Something went wrong” message when you follow the connection link as well?
And are you both on cloud or self-hosting?

Could you try clearing your browser cache before trying again?

can someone pleae help with this error code ?

  • n8n version: - latest since on cloud
  • Database (default: SQLite): - na
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main): - default

I don’t have that Oauth redirect url either in n8n did you find a fix for it ?

Hi all,

I’m self hosting my n8n on docker and trying to connect google sheet with OAuth.

I followed the steps as per the documentation but still I’m not able to connect.
I’m getting the below error while trying to login with one of my test user email.
