Private Instance - Loses Connection Commonly

Describe the problem/error/question

I’m commonly getting Connection Lost errors when trying to add, test, update workflows. It doesn’t seem to be for any particular reason. I have a very beefy server so not sure what’s going on. Here’s a video of the error flow: CleanShot 2025-10-18 at 15.44.18 · CleanShot Cloud - It won’t retrieve the page until about 35 seconds later.

Any help is appreciated and willing to share anything else that might help solve the issue. Thanks in advance!

Information on your n8n setup

  • n8n version: 1.1115.3
  • Database (default: SQLite): Postgres
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main): default
  • Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app): docker - coolify
  • Operating system: Ubuntu

I think , my issue is similar . i am new user who is doing some POC . i am using very simple workflow using the same n8n version as you and OS : windows . even i have subscribed on this tool . getting You have a connection issue or the server is down.
n8n should reconnect automatically once the issue is resolved.
