That sounds like a protocol or network issue. Is there anything server side that may have changed? A user here realised it was an issue with not having a static IP:

Hi @Jon, It was a issue with the server side I was not in my orgs VPC and and didn’t had a static IP for my service. The requests were Tarpitted causing a timeout on my end. I have bonded a outbound static IP and that solved the issue. No issue with n8n!!

Hey @Maxfield, Welcome to the community You can work around this if you configure your proxy to also listen on HTTPS and set http_proxy to http://proxy:port and https_proxy to https://proxy:port
