I have problems getting the Claude + n8n MCP working flawless. I have set up the MCP as a connector in Claude Desktop and I have tried a variety of prompts (using Claude to design the prompt) and uploaded a bunch of JSON ref cases. I can make very simple workflows but once it becomes more complex it struggle to get it right. Anybody who has been able to get it to work? I am not an experienced developer and can’t code. I am using the cloud version.
Hi @Andreas_Schon, are you trying to create a custom n8n mcp server which you want to make use of from claude desktop? If so are you using the cloud version or self hosted n8n? I believe there is a thread which deals with the connection issues when self hosting and perhaps using nginx
