# Pulling Activecampagn Contact Id

Hi guys,  
Just a general question. I’m trying to add a tag to an Activecampaign contact, but in order to do this, I need to specify Activecampaign contact ID. but I have only email address.  
How can I find out what the contact ID in the Activecampaign is, based on just email address I have on the Input side?  
And why the ID of the contact is actually required - is there a way to do it with just email address?

Hi @Kris_Szostak, to find out a contact ID based on an email address you could use the “Get Many” operation of the ActiveCampaign node. It comes with two filters, “Email” (searching for a full email) and “Email Like” (searching for a partial email):
