Good morning. I’m trying to learn with the level 1 course of n8n, and I faced a problem related to the HTTP Request from getting the dataset url sended via email. I added all the credentials correctly, but I got this response from the request:

```auto
NodeApiError: The connection was aborted, perhaps the server is offline at Object.execute (/usr/local/lib/node_modules/n8n/node_modules/n8n-nodes-base/dist/nodes/HttpRequest/V3/HttpRequestV3.node.js:525:33) at Workflow.runNode (/usr/local/lib/node_modules/n8n/node_modules/n8n-workflow/dist/Workflow.js:722:19) at /usr/local/lib/node_modules/n8n/node_modules/n8n-core/dist/WorkflowExecute.js:706:51 at /usr/local/lib/node_modules/n8n/node_modules/n8n-core/dist/WorkflowExecute.js:1137:20
```

I’m using a local n8n.

Which http request? The quotes API seems to be down - in the mean time, [here’s a list of free APIs](https://github.com/public-apis/public-apis) that you could use instead (it will require fiddling a bit with the fieldnames, of course).

Hey @bartv I’m having trouble when I run this HTTP request node from the level one course. Instead of getting back a table of data as described in the course, I get a JSON response like this : [
{
“error”: “Please provide the correct Unique ID.”
}
]

And I used the unique ID provided in the course sign-up email and configured the fields exactly as the instructions.

Please help. Thanks

Hey @roseyAI what unique ID did you use? I used the exact credentials they sent me by email but I keep getting an error asking me to provide the correct unique ID. Please help. Thanks

That error is usually the endpoint, not the credentials. I’d check three things first: whether the URL works outside n8n, whether the method/headers match what the endpoint expects, and whether auth is required on that dataset URL. If you paste the exact request settings, it’s easier to tell if it’s a bad URL, auth, or payload issue.
