Question on plans for self-host n8n

Describe the problem/error/question

Hi team, i am hosting n8n on corporate linux server with free plan, when i try to share the workflow it ask me to upgrade my plan, which plan is available for my case and I also see license key also required sometimes, can someone help to understand what is the difference here?

btw-wanna integrate with our own keycloak service for LDAP user management but not working also, does this also mean i have to go to a paid plan?

What is the error message (if any)?

question for plan

Information on your n8n setup

  • n8n version: 1.84.0
  • Database (default: SQLite): postgres
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main): default
  • Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app): docker
  • Operating system: linux RHEL

See here for features in each edition. SSO & LDAP are on the enterprise plan, as is sharing/collaboration and that’s the only plan available for self-hosted.
The prices aren’t explicitly stated for this option, but I’ve had quotes in the past and it’s not cheap. The startup plan is cheaper, but has criteria to qualify and only lasts a year.
THe hosted plans are more affordable and will get you the sharing options, but not the SSO.
