The idea is:
I would like to suggest adding a feature to N8n that allows users to save and quickly access pre-configured nodes, such as commonly used HTTP Request nodes, to avoid recreating them from scratch every time a new workflow is created. This would allow users to store nodes in a quick-access menu or sidebar for easy copying and pasting into new workflows.
My use case:
I frequently create workflows that require the same HTTP Request configuration. Every time I start a new workflow, I have to manually create the node or copy it from another workflow. This process can be time-consuming and inefficient, especially when working with multiple workflows in parallel.
I think it would be beneficial to add this because:
This feature would save time by allowing users to easily reuse pre-configured nodes, streamlining the workflow creation process. It would eliminate the need to manually recreate nodes or switch between tabs, improving efficiency for developers who work with common configurations frequently.
Any resources to support this?
Currently, N8n allows for workflows to be reused, but there is no built-in feature to save and quickly access individual nodes. This feature would make the platform more intuitive and time-efficient, particularly for users who work with repeated configurations.
Are you willing to work on this?
While I am not directly able to contribute to the development of this feature, I believe this change would significantly enhance the user experience and encourage other users to upvote this request.
