I dont know how to locate the file in a path where its readable by n8n cloud node
I saw MutedJam suggesting google drive. Is there away that it can read it from my PC rather google drive? thanks a lot
@Nadia_Yousif , you can try to use proxy service such as ngrok. Here’s the video explaining how that could be achieved. It’s an old video but it explains it well and in much details. Hopefully you can adopt it to the newer version (literally of everything), https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWDy_GphMZ4.
To summarize, you would
Have a dedicated folder with your file(s) that you want to access via the internet
Run local Python server in that folder
Run ngrok to activate HTTP access to your file in that folder
You will get a dedicated unique URL (access to your local folder) that could be used in n8n.
@Nadia_Yousif , so, you are planning to build graph from the data in CSV file? Yes, it is a different topic and best to create a new thread.
As for this topic, here’s an example how to get your CSV and transform it to JSON format for further processing (including plotting). Surely, the URL would have to be changed to the one you will get from running ngrok.
