Regarding Cloud Pricing & Billing Cycles

Hey n8n community :waving_hand: Quick billing question: if I’m currently on a lower Cloud plan and I upgrade today to the ~$60 plan, how does the billing cycle work? Specifically, is the upgrade prorated for the remaining days of my current billing period, or do I get charged the full $60 immediately and then potentially charged again soon when the plan “resets”?

Also, when do the monthly limits (executions / concurrency) reset — on my subscription anniversary date or on a calendar-month reset? I’m asking because I’m mid-cycle and want to avoid paying twice in a short window. If anyone has done this upgrade recently and can confirm how it behaves, I’d really appreciate it :folded_hands:

Hi @nocodedude ,

When you upgrade your n8n Cloud plan:

  1. You only pay for the days left in your current month, not the full $60 right away

  2. Your billing date stays the same, if you normally get charged on the 15th, it stays the 15th

  3. You get the new limits immediately, no waiting!

  4. You won’t be charged twice, n8n calculates it fairly

Example:

  • You have 10 days left before your next billing date

  • You upgrade to the $60 plan

  • You pay about $20 now (just for those 10 days)

  • In 10 days, you pay the full $60 for the next month

Does this help!
