Schedule window time to send automatically email version 2.35.2

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to schedule my workflow to run automatically, but the Cron node does not appear in my node list. When I search for “cron”, I only see options like “Add Crono”, “Add Crono Tool”, and “Add Cronlytic Trigger”, none of which show the usual time or schedule parameters.
I need a node that lets me set a specific time and day for automatic execution (like the traditional Cron Trigger), but it seems to be missing in my editor. Is this a change in the new n8n interface, or am I looking in the wrong place?
Could someone explain how to properly add the scheduling trigger in the current version of n8n Cloud?
Thank you!

Hi @Aline_Freire

The Cron node was renamed, that’s why searching “cron” only turns up unrelated community nodes. It’s now the Schedule Trigger.

Hello @Aline_Freire ,

The old Cron node is now called “Schedule Trigger”, so search for “schedule” rather than “cron”. The “Crono” and “Cronlytic” results are unrelated community integrations.

Add Schedule Trigger as the first node, choose the trigger interval, then set the day and time. If you need a traditional cron expression, select the custom cron interval instead.

One thing worth checking before publishing the workflow is its timezone under Workflow Settings, otherwise the trigger may run at the correct configured time in the wrong timezone. The schedule only runs automatically once the workflow is published or active, not from a manual test execution.

Hope it helps!!

Thank you. AI was only sending Cron but opening that its not the correct . Thank you I will read about and set up this now.

Glad that sorted it. If it’s working for you, marking the reply as the solution helps the next person who searches for the Cron node and can’t find it.

Hi @Aline_Freire Welcome!
Once the workflow is published, editing the Schedule Trigger interval does not change the live schedule on its own. Unpublish the workflow and publish a new version for the change to take effect, otherwise it keeps running on the old timing.
