Self host create folder issue

hi everybody,:smiling_face:

my company setup a self-host n8n, when I want to create a folder, it asked me to input activation key. I don’t have this key. IT told me the paid version should have that key.

and my personal n8n account has “personal” item on the left panel, but the self-host account doesn’t have this item.

I want to clarify that self-host n8n cannot create folder, is it? or what can I do if I want to create folder and show the “personal” item on the left panel.

my company self-host n8n version is 2.15.1

Folders are part of the registered community edition. This is a free extension:

@Alan_Cheung1 go to Settings → Usage and plan → Enter Activation Key. The key is free — just register at n8n Plans and Pricing - n8n.io (community self-hosted plan) and you’ll get a license key by email. Once activated, folders plus workflow history and debug all unlock, no paid plan needed.
