I suspect the issue is related to this: Old Let’s Encrypt Root Certificate Expiration and OpenSSL 1.0.2 - OpenSSL Blog
When signing up for Mailtrap to test the connection it popped up with a little message to tell me about it.
Depending on how you have deployed n8n fixing this may be tricky but this is going to be an issue we are going to see a lot over the next few days.
