Send emails via Outlook local hosted

Hi everyone,

I have a client who wants to send emails via Outlook, but their Outlook is locally hosted due to security requirements in Germany. The question is, how can I access and integrate it with n8n?

What data do I need from the client to set this up?

Can I install Outlook locally on my Mac to test this myself, or do you have other recommendations for this scenario?

Hi,

You’re saying your customer is using Outlook locally therefore I assume the customer is using outlook clients to write/read emails while using an exchange server on premise to send these emails to other people over the internet.

So you can use the Send Email node from n8n to connect to this exchange server which then send your mail:
