Shut Down Without Dialogue/Feedback from a Suspended Creator

I’d like to share a few thoughts after receiving the suspension notice for my creator account.

The email felt abrupt: it gave no details about what was wrong or how I could fix it…just that my access was gone. Even on forums like Reddit, moderators usually say “please update your post or we’ll remove it.” That feels fair; this didn’t.

I wasn’t trying to flood the gallery or chase clicks. If the issue was the link on my profile, I could have removed it in seconds. The site only points to my Upwork, LinkedIn and insta pages.

What puzzled me most was the claim that none of my 55 workflows met the quality bar, while I can see other accounts with hundreds of near-empty templates still live. Adding to the confusion, I kept getting “template approved” emails after the suspension. It’s hard to know what standard I missed.

I’m not asking for my account back, just explaining how the process felt from my side. A little clarity or a chance to revise the workflows would have made a huge difference.

I’ve always liked the n8n platform.still do, to be honest. I had a free weekend, and instead of binge-watching Netflix, I thought it’d be fun to build a series of small, creative templates. Simple workflows that even non-technical people (or even kids!) could play around with and do something interesting.

It was never about clicks. I genuinely didn’t care about that. I just wanted to do something nice and a bit different.

In hindsight… maybe I should’ve just stuck with Netflix.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.
