I’ve built an AI automation to connect my A/B testing platform to Slack and ask it about performance of my tests. That works perfectly well. However, in Slack, when I ask the question I receive an answer from “Myself” (My User Profile) instead of the App Name. So it seems to use a User token not the Bot token, although I set up the credentials with the Bot Token created in the Slack App Center. I’ve even added a Logo URL for the Bot profile picture in n8n, but it’s still using my profile to answer. I don’t know if this is exactly a n8n problem or if I messed up the Slack Setup, but maybe someone ran into a similar issue and can help me.

Does your bot token start with xoxb- ?
Yea it starts with xoxb-. In the Bot Token Scope I have also added these Scopes to enable it to act as the bot
That option doesn’t exist in the Slack node. I’m using the Send Message to Slack node as an AI Agent tool.
