I’m facing an issue with the Slack Send and Wait for Response node in n8n — when a file is attached in the message, the node doesn’t output the file ID or URL in its response. This makes it difficult to pass the attached files to the next node or user in the workflow.
Has anyone found a reliable way to extract file data (ID or URL) from this node’s output or any workaround to forward the attachments in subsequent workflow steps?
