My AWS EC2 hosted n8n experienced slowness in response.
As you can see from the graph below, it took 18 second to process the image generation by OpenAI but it took nearly 2 mins to move the processing node from OpenAI to upload file to Dropbox.
And it took even longer to process it at Upload file node, and it has been 5 mins now and it is still processing.
