# SSO and email/pwd login issue

## Describe the problem/error/question

Hi all!  
i’ve an issue with SSO and email/pwd login.  
basically after we set up SSO with SAML (that is working btw) we lost the ability to login via email/pwd.  
is there any configuration that i can change to let both login method available?

## Information on your n8n setup

- **n8n version:** 1.42.1
- **Database (default: SQLite):** Postgres
- **Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app):** docker on kubernetes

Instance owner can still login via password. And in the settings page for the instance owner, there is an option to allow password login for other users.  
Are you having issues logging in as the instance owner?

hey! sorry for the late reply, i had issues logging with the owner account via email/pwd. i actually managed to solve the issue by reinstalling the n8n chart on kubernetes. don’t know why but that solved the issue! thanks guys
