Switch note, what am I missing?

I’ve noticed that two separate workflows are running the switch node, and the options displayed on the nodes differ. One node only shows the mode option, while the other shows the mode option, data type, and value, before the Routing Rule section.

Any ideas of why this might be?

The one on the right is a new version where you set the type per rule.
