Hey everyone :wave:
In the Nodes team at n8n, we’re working on the next evoution of n8n Forms - and we want to hear from you!

That means the form trigger, form step, ending and the form frontend. A few questions:

  • How are you currently using n8n Forms?
  • What annoys you most about n8n Forms in their current iteration?
  • What form features do you dream of having to elevate your form workflows?

Anything you can share that comes to mind will help us in shaping what comes next.

Hello @jake,
it is a pleasure to be able to lend a hand and see that the n8n features are improved and integrated.

Honestly, I used the form for some projects but I had to abandon it on certain workflows because I should have customized the form from an aesthetic point of view, it seems like bullshit but on some customers it is also important to have a graphic consistency with respect to their flows.

If I can’t customize the brand (really the entire CSS, and potentially the HTML) of the form, I won’t like it.

To make forms useful, it’s imperative to be able to embed them easily into pre-existing platforms and CMS solutions, with as little opinionated design as possible, such that it can be inherited from said platform’s theme.

Some GUI design tools would also be helpful for situations where the theme lacks in form design, and I might want to match the branding manually.
