Trying to reactivate my account 90 days after free trial

I had created a free trial account to make a proposal of a project that didnt go through at the time. Now it is going to be fully ON and I need to renew my n8n subscription. However, I believe it has been slightly over 90 days past the free trial end date, and I ve seen that this may mean that my account has been deleted. Is there any way I can regain acess to it? Please, its URGENT!

It’s very likely @Igor3 that your old Cloud workspace and its data can’t be recovered if it has been more than 90 days since your free trial ended.

According to the docs, free trial workspaces are deleted after the trial if you don’t upgrade, and you have up to 90 days after trial end to download your workflows from the admin dashboard. After that, workflows are permanently deleted and unrecoverable.[Cloud free trial; Download workflows]
There’s also confirmation on the forum that once this window has passed, you can create a new account with the same email, but you won’t be able to retrieve the old workflows.[Workspace offline]

That said, because this is urgent, I’d still recommend:

  1. Email [email protected] with:

    • Your old workspace URL (e.g. xxxxx.n8n.cloud)

    • The email used for the trial

    • Approximate trial start/end dates

    • A note that you want to upgrade and ask if anything can still be restored

  2. In parallel, create a new workspace and start rebuilding what you can remember, so you’re not blocked while waiting for support.

To set expectations: if you are indeed past the 90‑day window, support will most likely confirm that the old data is gone, and you’ll need to rebuild in a fresh workspace.

Hey Anshul, thanks a lot for this
And thank you for the detailed explanations and sources, it clarifies things
I will try doing this, however I dont have much expectations.

Hey @Igor3 , glad the explanation helped and thank you for the quick follow-up!

You’re right to keep expectations modest given the 90-day cleanup policy, but reaching out to → [email protected]

with the details I mentioned is still absolutely worth a try sometimes support can confirm specifics or clarify exactly what’s possible.

In the meantime, getting a new workspace set up now and starting to rebuild is the best way to avoid being blocked. Even if the old data can’t be restored, having a fresh environment ready will save you time once you hear back.

If you run into any bumps rebuilding or have questions as you go, feel free to share. I’m happy to help! :+1:

Hey @Igor3 !

I think you already have your “official” answer …

I’m afraid its outside of the window for retrieving the backups too - I did check just in case anything remained but unfortunately not

Soo, maybe creating a new topic and get help to build back your project?

Cheers!
