Unable to Use Community License Key After Reinstallations

I’m a local user of the n8n Community edition. Due to limited experience, I had to reinstall n8n several times while learning and configuring it locally. As a result, my Community license key has been blocked.

Describe the problem/error/question

The Community license key has stopped working.

What is the error message (if any)?

Activation failed
Activation key has been used too many times

  • n8n version: 1.90.2
  • Database (default: SQLite): PostgreSQL 16
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main): own
  • Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app): Docker
  • Operating system: Ubuntu 22.04

Hi there

Can you trying running n8n license:clear and then restart n8n and see if you can then apply the license?

docker exec -u node -it

This did not work. I am running n8n using helm and so i destroy and recreate often. Where is this limit stored and I get this error?
