Update subcollection field in Firestore

Hi,

In firestore, I have a collection called “Alerts” with a subcollection “photos” (with field photo_path)

I’d like to update only the field “photo_path” of a photo in the subcollection

Can I use the id of the document of the subcollection ?

Can I use the id of the document of the subcollection ?

Hi @romeo_roy, I am not sure about this unfortunately, but I’d suspect this one might fail - perhaps you want to simply test it against a dummy collection to avoid accidentally updating any production data?
