Describe the problem/error/question

Some Workflows which using “n8n-nodes-base.itemLists”, report errors after Docker image upgrade

What is the error message (if any)?

  1. Problem activating workflow. The following error occurred on workflow activation:
    Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘description’)

  2. Issues: Node Type “n8n-nodes-base.itemLists” is not known.

  3. Workflow has issues Node Type is not known.

Hi @Sliots, I am so sorry for the trouble :frowning:

This seems to affect Item Lists nodes added in version 0.236. This version of n8n uses a newer variant of the node that hasn’t made it into v1.0.5 from the looks of it.

I’ve flagged this with the engineering team and we’ll post an update once this is fixed. In the meantime, can you try adding a new Item Lists node in your affected workflows?

The good news is this problem will be fixed with n8n v1.1.0, which should go out tomorrow :slight_smile:
