[URGENT] Impossible Issue: UI Functions Fail Even After Full Server Restore from Snapshot

`Hello, I have an impossible problem and I have exhausted all options.

The Problem:
On my self-hosted n8n instance (on Easypanel/Hostinger), I cannot import or copy-paste workflows. The UI does not react (“nothing happens”). This happens even on a completely fresh install.

The Unbelievable Part:
To fix this, I restored a full VPS snapshot from 22 days ago, from a time when I know for a fact that everything was working perfectly. Even after restoring the entire server to this known-good state, the problem still persists.

This proves the issue is not on the server, the n8n installation, the database, or the Docker configuration.

What we have also tried:

  • A complete reinstall of the n8n service and data volume.
  • Testing on brand new installations of Chrome and Firefox (including incognito mode).
  • Validating the workflow JSON backup (it’s correct).

The only remaining possibility is an issue with my local client environment (PC, network, antivirus, firewall) or a very specific issue with the Easypanel/Hostinger proxy interacting with my location/network.

Has anyone ever seen anything like this? I am completely blocked.`

Hey Alan - Im running n8n on a Hostinger VPS and I can copy/paste workflows successfully. When you say import are you importing templates? I have not tried that, but happy to poke around with my instance to help narrow down root cause.
