I want to make a telephone AI agent with n8n workflows that I’ve already created, but I want it to work seamlessly with multiple languages. That’s why everything is set up in Spanish. I asked vapi for help, and they told me this. I think part of it says to create something for languages.
Hey, it seems that elevenlabs supports multimple languages if you set the Transcriber and Voice witht the right parameters.
Yes, I have tried with elevenlabs, but the agent tries to understand in Spanish, so sometimes he answers in Spanish and doesn’t know that he has to understand and speak in another language as well
Do you use the vapi dashboard to set the assistant? or in the http vapi call ?
It seems that your system prompt for the assistant and maybe the agent ai node as well needs refinenment.
Clear instructions, fallbacks … etc.

It seems that Vapi supports now the gpt5 realtime models(but you are forced to use openai compatible voices). You can try that and see how it goes(warning, prices are a bit high, + 0.20$ /minut ).
