Very very bad

Colleagues, I don’t understand what’s going on. They have idiotic support and a stupid service that constantly breaks down some automations and I can’t get them. Support switched to ProPlan because they promised direct support, but I’m not getting it. Thank you for being there, who can help me solve the problem? I can’t publish my automations because I’ve lost the rights to them. Even though I’m the only user of N8 services and automations, and I’m the only user to create one, my business has completely stopped. I don’t know what to do next.

Hey @ais222 Welcome to the n8n community!

It sounds extremely frustrating, sorry you’re stuck in that situation.

Things what i can suggest are:

  1. Make sure you’re logged in as the right account type
Only the owner and admins can see and manage all workflows; members may lose the ability to edit/publish depending on how sharing/roles are set.
If you somehow created or imported workflows under a different user (or your role changed), you can lose publish rights.

  2. Check workflow sharing / ownership
Workflow access is controlled per workflow. If the workflow is no longer “yours” (created by another user or transferred), you might only have editor or viewer access, which can block publishing or editing in some cases.

  3. If you’re on n8n Cloud Pro

    • Pro/Cloud plans get email support for admin/billing; technical issues are still primarily handled via the community forum.

    • For a business‑stopping problem, send a very detailed email (workspace URL, screenshots of the “no permission to publish” message, your account email, and what changed before it broke) to [email protected] and also post in the community forum so the support team and community can both see it.

  4. If you’re self‑hosted and using workers/runners, double‑check all n8n containers run the same version; mismatched versions have caused weird permission/publish issues for others.

If you share:

  • Whether you’re on Cloud or self‑hosted,

  • A screenshot of the exact “lost rights / can’t publish” message,

I can help you narrow down the next precise steps. Reaching out to [email protected] might bring more clarity to your situation, let me know if this helps
