Why not setup a support n8n trained chatbot that tries to reply for you. Then if not sufficient, have members help out. The chatbot may already fix many people’s issues. I do it all the time, AI is a wonderful helper
We will! However, we debated if we should let it answer questions on the forum and we decided against it as that would most likely quickly harm the community dynamic (it would basically turn the forum into a public chatbot, and remove all incentives for humans to interact with each other).
Instead, we’re exploring a chatbot that tries to help you before you post, quickly solving the common issues, while still leaving the interesting conversations on the forum itself.
Yes, a bot that suggests relevant resources or drafts a reply for us is exactly what I was thinking as well, would be very helpful.
Kudos on the funny GIF!
Looking forward to helping out.
Generous rewards for the top contributors but I would trade them all for a discount on enterprise licensing or a free feature like variables or longer change history, just my 2c.
Hi Bart! Could be a separate category, something people could chose to get immediate feedback. Of course we can already do that with public chatbots but yours could be trained with the latest and greatest to reply. I don’t think it has to destroy the dynamic of the community. It would make people focus on something else than the obvious questions and answers as these may be answered by ai right away and so the less obvious ones would remain. The chatbot could be trained with community answers as well. Just brainstorming with you
great initiative. I’ve been going through the documents without login but signed up to community now so I can answer some questions and earn another free trial
There are already some members on the top of the Leaderboard that have the Community Support role.
Are they part of the “competition” too?
Meaning if I get 4th place and the top 3 are working members of the Support Team, do I get the rewards as the 1st or the 4th place?
Community support is an active group of people in the community that help a lot of people. We are not n8n employees, we only have the extra badge and some more rights on the forum to do some moderation.
Edit:
If n8n employees were on the list I am pretty sure Jon would top it. Or maybe good old Tom.
