Webhook runs not terminating

Describe the problem/error/question

My webhook workflow isn’t terminating for some reason - I just had to manually cancel a run after 1200 minutes.

What is the error message (if any)?

None, the workflow just keeps running indefinitely when it should have terminated.

Share the output returned by the last node

None - as expected. All nodes seem to be executing flawlessly.

Hey @vzwick,
can you give some more information of the execution? For example: Which node was the last executed one? Which output did the others return?

Hi Nico,

as far as I can tell, all nodes have run. The last executed node should’ve been the “Code” one, which is (intentionally) a no-op, returning an empty array.

The other nodes seem to have their normal outputs going on.

Hi @vzwick, I am so sorry for the trouble. I had a look into the server logs for your n8n cloud instance and could see that it fails to write the final execution status to the instance database.

Can you try upgrading to the latest available version of n8n through the n8n cloud dashboard at n8n.cloud and confirm if the issue still persists for you?
